Chelated magnesium

Magnesium is one of the most important minerals for the body, as it is a cofactor for several enzymes involved in many metabolic processes, from the biosynthesis of lipids, proteins and nucleic acids to glycolysis. It plays a fundamental role in regulating the excitability of nerve cells and muscle fibers.

Magnesium bisglycinate is a form of magnesium in which the mineral is chelated to an organic compound (two molecules of glycine), giving the mineral better bioavailability and therefore a high level of absorption in the intestine.

Magnesium contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system, and normal psychological and muscle function, having a physiological muscle-relaxing and soothing effect. It also helps reduce tiredness and fatigue and contributes to normal energy metabolism, helping to transform the nutrients contained in food into energy.

Magnesium deficiencies have been observed in some cases of excessive alcohol consumption and use of diuretics and laxatives. Magnesium deficiencies may also occur in athletes, older people and particularly stressed individuals.

Magnesium (bisglycinate*, oxide). Bulking agent: Microcrystalline cellulose. Anticaking agents: Vegetable magnesium stearate, Silicon dioxide. Thickener: Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose. Coating agent: Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. Humectant: Vegetable glycerol. Colour: Titanium dioxide.

Directions for use
Swallow 4 tablets daily with water, preferably with meals. Packaged in bottles of 100 tablets.

Warning
