The Ginkgo ( Ginkgo biloba L.) is a very widespread tree in ancient times that almost completely disappeared during the ice age. It survived in China and Japan and was used by monks to embellish temples. From a botanical point of view it is considered a sort of living fossil.
The main constituents of the phytocomplex are ginkgolides (i.e. specific terpenes) and flavonoid glycosides which are flavonoid molecules linked to sugars. FITOGINKGO is a food supplement containing powdered leaves and standardized Ginkgo leaf extract, useful for its antioxidant action as a defense against free radical damage. It promotes blood circulation and the functionality of the microcirculation. Ginkgo also supports memory and cognitive functions.
Compared to GINKGO BILOBA 60, in FITOGINKGO the standardized Ginkgo extract is more concentrated: each capsule contains 90 mg of standardized herbal leaf extract (24% flavoglycosides, 6% total terpenoids) and 45 mg of powdered whole leaves.

Composition:
Bulking agent: Microcrystalline cellulose. Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba L.) standardized leaf extract (24% flavoglycosides, 6% terpene lactones) and powdered leaves. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. Anti-caking agent: Vegetable magnesium stearate. Antioxidant: PhytO2XTM powder base [beta-carotene e vitamina C (acido ascorbico)] .
