Natural vitamin D from fish liver oil 400 IU (10 mcg) per softgel

Food supplement containing natural vitamin D (vitamin D3 extracted from fish liver oil). Vitamin D is synthesized in the skin following exposure to sunlight, and its synthesis may decrease, particularly during the winter months, when exposure to sunlight is limited.

Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus, minerals that support neuromuscular function and bone mineralization. It therefore contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth. Vitamin D also promotes the normal functioning of the immune system and supports regular muscle function.

Ingredients
Safflower oil (Carthamus tinctorius L.). Gelatin. Firming agent: Glycerol. Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) from fish liver oil.

Contains fish.

Directions for use
Swallow 1 to 2 softgels per day with water, preferably with meals. Packaged in bottles of 100 softgels.

Precautions for use
- Vitamin D should not be taken together with digitalis (due to the risk of arrhythmia), thiazide diuretics (due to the risk of hypercalcemia) or calcitonin (vitamin D could reduce the effect of the medicine). Contains fish.
