PHYTOSTEROLS FOR THE PHYSIOLOGICAL CONTROL OF CHOLESTEROL
FITOCOLESTRINOL is a food supplement containing phytosterols extracted from soy. Phytosterols are molecules of plant origin that help maintain normal blood cholesterol levels*.

Taking at least 1.5 g of phytosterols per day can help reduce blood cholesterol levels.** Hypercholesterolemia is a risk factor for the development of coronary heart disease.

*The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of at least 0.8 g of plant sterols (at least 2 softgels).

**The beneficial effect is observed with an intake of at least 1.5 g of plant sterols per day (4 softgels per day).

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for children under 5 years of age. The product is not intended for people who do not need to control their blood cholesterol levels. Patients undergoing cholesterol-lowering treatment should consume the product only under medical supervision. Avoid consuming more than 3 g of plant sterols per day. Take as part of a varied and balanced diet that includes regular consumption of fruit and vegetables to help maintain carotenoid levels.
