Alpha-lipoic acid and cinnamon

When we think of cinnamon, we think of the famous sticks with their intense, characteristic aroma, widely used in cooking to flavor sweet and savory dishes. This spice pairs well with fruit desserts, especially apples, chocolate, creams and liqueurs. 

It also has numerous health-promoting properties: cinnamon bark has anantioxidant, promotes digestive function and supports normal carbohydrate metabolism. It is important to bear in mind that impaired carbohydrate metabolism can be associated with greater fat accumulation around the waist, giving rise to the not always welcome “love handles.” 

LIPOIC CANNELLA is a formulation containing dry cinnamon bark extract (Cinnamomum zeylanicum Blume) combined with alpha-lipoic acid.

Alpha-lipoic acid, a sulfur-rich compound, plays an essential role in metabolic processes involved in energy production, mainly in the mitochondrion, as a cofactor for numerous enzymes that participate in converting glucose, fatty acids and other energy sources into ATP.

Nutritional information (per 4 vegetable capsules):
- Cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum Blume) dry bark extract (10:1) 600 mg
- Alpha-lipoic acid (thioctic acid) 600 mg

Ingredients
Alpha-lipoic acid (thioctic acid). Cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum Blume) dry bark extract (10:1). Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. Bulking agent: Microcrystalline cellulose. Anti-caking agents: Silicon dioxide, vegetable magnesium stearate.

Directions for use
Swallow 2 to 4 vegetable capsules daily with water, preferably with meals. Packaged in bottles of 60 vegetable capsules.

Precautions for use
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- If you are being treated with blood glucose-lowering medicines, consult your doctor before using the product.
