Description

The 400 electrodepilator is a device for permanent hair removal with the thermolytic method. Through the introduction of a needle, with radiofrequency current, into the hair follicle, the heating and consequent coagulation of the papilla is caused. Integrated with highly reliable electronic components, continuously adjustable RF intensity and operation indicator light.

Comes complete with pedal, hair removal handpiece, hair removal needle with power cord (2m).

One of the methods used in needle depilators consists in the delivery of radiofrequency current aimed at obtaining heating and the consequent coagulation of the papilla achieved through the introduction of the needle into the hair follicle. The success of the operation depends on the state of life of the treated hair, i.e. whether it is in the growth phase (anagena), maturity (telegena) or atrophication (catagena). The best results are obtained on hair treated in the anagen phase.

The delivery time of the radio frequency is generally proportional to the power emitted and can vary from a tenth of a second in "flash" depilators to a few seconds in traditional depilators, in which the time is regulated based on the pressure of the pedal or by non-regulated timers for well-defined times.

The Depilator 400 device allows the emission of radio frequency manually without predetermination of the emission time. During use, the radio frequency is emitted each time the pedal is pressed, with an emission duration equal to the time the pedal is kept pressed. The device has a maximum power of 7 Watts measured on a 500 Ohm load.

The Depilator 400 is an electric device for aesthetic use and is made according to CEI62-39 standards.

Application technique:
Permanent hair removal is achieved by destroying the germinative cells of the hair. These cells are located in the hair bulb. Experimental research, however, has highlighted how, even if the bulb is eliminated, some cells in the portion of the hair follicle underlying the outlets of the sebaceous glands can take on regenerative capacity and therefore give rise to a new hair complete with papilla. Hair removal is certainly definitive when these cells are also destroyed.

The technique consists in introducing the tip of the needle electrode into the follicle until a slight resistance is encountered due not, as one might assume, to reaching the bulb, but to reaching that part of the follicle located below the outlet of the sebaceous gland which, adhering intimately to the hair throughout its entire extension, both in correspondence with the epithelial sheaths and in the papilla, does not allow the needle to slide further.

The introduction of the tip of the needle electrode into the most superficial portion of the follicle, facilitated by distension or plication of the skin, must be atraumatic (without pain and bleeding!). The direction to be given to the needle is the same as the first section of hair that emerges from the follicular ostium. The operator, after having reached the area of slight resistance with the needle, presses on the pedal and simultaneously sinks the needle by 1, 2 or 3 mm until it reaches the bulb, thus destroying all the determining cells of the hair. The penetration depth of the needle is estimated after checking the extraction of the first hairs. With this movement, from the surface to the depths, the epidermal damage that can result from excessively superficial discharges is also avoided.

A single discharge with a moving needle electrode is sufficient to eliminate fluff and fine hair; for more noticeable hair, a second discharge is required which is generated after withdrawing the needle a little, and directly above the bulb ( between this and the outlet of the sebaceous gland). During this second discharge, which completes the destruction of all the germinative cells, the operator keeps the needle electrode immobile. The treated hair is removed with tweezers and must not offer any noticeable resistance to extraction. If he resists, the procedure must be repeated with greater precision.

Hair physiology:
Before a treatment, it is advisable for the operator to explain to the client the different phases of hair growth and the need to re-intervene in the same area even if it has been totally depilated, going over it again until all the follicles from the hair have been treated. which terminal hairs emerge.

Particular attention must be paid to avoiding discharges that are too superficial which can damage the epidermis, especially where the follicles are very short and innervated as in the upper lip.

A technique that gives good results consists in dividing the lip area into three parts: a central one and two lateral ones which are depilated by partially thinning them out and in subsequent sessions.

The same technique can be used for eyelash or eyebrow hair removal.

Facial hair removal:
It is performed in weekly or biweekly sessions during which 50, 100 or more hairs are eliminated. If necessary, all the hairs present can be eliminated in a single session, even if they are very close to each other or even contiguous.

You can shave the cheeks, upper lip, chin, neck, you can change the hairline, shave the eyelid margin in case of destrichiasis, as well as the area between the two eyebrows. In men this hair removal is quite frequent, in addition to the hair removal of the zygomatic regions and in some regions of the neck where the hair tends to become ingrown.

Body hair removal:
Many regions of the body can be permanently depilated, such as the periaureolar and breast regions, the abdominal region, the pubic-inguinal region, the dorsal region, the lower and upper limbs including the axillary regions.

In areas where the hair to be eliminated is very concentrated, such as in the pubic-inguinal and axillary regions, the thinning technique in subsequent sessions is recommended. When treating the groin, the operator delimits the area to be depilated using the client's very low-cut panty as a reference and proceeds to completely depilate the area that protrudes from the edge of the panty. This hair removal must be repeated another 2 or 3 times 2/3 months apart to also remove hair that was in the growth phase in the first treatments.
