Cod liver oil is considered an ancient grandmother's remedy to which restorative properties were attributed. In fact, cold sea fish liver oil is naturally rich in vitamin A, a supporting nutrient for maintaining the health of skin and mucous membranes, and for maintaining normal vision. Cod liver oil is also a source of vitamin D3 which contributes to the normal absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus, as well as the maintenance of normal bones and teeth. Vitamin A and vitamin D contribute to the correct functioning of the immune system. In this formulation the presence of vitamin A and vitamin D3 has been standardized in order to make the effect reproducible for each production batch.
