There are 270 programs of which 46 are specific for cycling, divided into four large areas.
“PHYSICAL PREPARATION” AREA
34 programs to improve the cyclist's muscular qualities, taking into account the specific needs of those who practice road cycling or mountain biking. The main objectives of this section are:
– increase strength quickly and sustainably;
– prevent and reduce the risk of joint trauma and muscle injuries;
– improve specific strength and therefore also the ability to reach and sprint, as well as those of resistant strength, necessary for example to face climbs;
– provide specific training for the upper limbs as well, especially for those who practice mountain biking and are subjected to the constant vibrations of the handlebars.
“PAIN-INJURIES” AREA
4 programs to treat traumas and recurring discomfort in cycling.
Specific protocols are included for:
– relax the muscles of the cervical area and shoulders;
– promote recovery after muscle injuries;
– alleviate muscle-joint pain in the back;
– treat knee inflammation.
“RECOVERY” AREA
6 programs dedicated to:
– loosen the muscles at the end of training and/or competitions;
– speed up recovery between one session and another if you participate in stage races or tours;
– give relief to the neck and shoulders when they are particularly tense due to hours spent in the saddle.
“PREVENTION” AREA
2 programs aimed at drastically reducing the number of injuries and the main musculoskeletal disorders of the cyclist.
