Medihoney Apinate is a dressing with Calcium Alginate fiber and Medihoney Medical Honey which gels when in contact with exudate, transforming into a soft gel.
The dressing can be left in place for up to 7 days (depending on wound exudate)
Product absorption capacity: 23.33 g/100 cm² /24 h.
The Medihoney Apinate Antibacterial Dressing is a topical preparation that contains 100% Medihoney Antibacterial Medical Honey. It is a standardized honey, mainly Leptospermum, selected for its incomparable antibacterial properties and as a wound disinfectant.
Medihoney Apinate Antibacterial allows you to:
• provide an optimal moist environment for wound healing;
• protect the lesion by creating an antibacterial barrier even against strains resistant to antibiotics;
• remove bad smell;
• reduce the risk of bacterial infections;
• activate rapid and effective autolytic debridement of slough, necrotic tissue and fibrin
