The Curasept Prevent 300 ml Mouthwash is part of the Curasept Prevent line, designed for daily use to support protocols for preventing mucositis and peri-implantitis in the presence of dental implants, and recurrences in patients previously treated for periodontitis with natural teeth. The mouthwash is indicated for the protection, prevention and maintenance of implants and for keeping at-risk situations under control. Use at least 2 times a day is recommended.

The Prevent system, described as formulated with ozonated extra virgin olive oil and specific probiotics, is intended to rebalance the oral microbiota on a daily basis and counter plaque formation. Maintaining the balance of the oral microbiota, or eubiosis, is important because uncontrolled proliferation of the oral bacterial flora can promote excessive production of pathogenic bacteria, including obligate anaerobic Gram-negative bacteria, which are often responsible for implant-related and periodontal diseases.

- Ozonated olive oil: gradually releases ozone, creating an environment favorable to maintaining the balance of the oral microbiota; helps improve the health of gum tissue and oral mucosa, including in cases of previous gum disease
- PVP-VA: adheres to teeth and oral mucosa and creates a protective film that inhibits the adhesion and proliferation of bacterial plaque and oral biofilm
- Stevia: natural sweetener with an anti-caries action
- Melaleuca oil, also known as tea tree oil: contains natural substances with antioxidant action
