Curasept Astringent is a new mouthwash based on chlorhexidine 0.2% and Hamamelis virginiana. 
The mouthwash has an astringent effect on the mucous membranes, causing vasoconstriction of the capillaries, with a consequent reduction in vascular permeability and, when wounds are present, helping the clot to form.
02080In addition, witch hazel extract has a direct anti-inflammatory action, which works by helping to inhibit free radicals and chemical mediators of inflammation. The combination with chlorhexidine also protects the oral cavity from bacteria.
