Spirulina (Spirulina platensis) is a blue-green micro algae, with a filamentous and spiral appearance, traditionally considered a superfood thanks to its content of proteins and essential amino acids, polysaccharides, essential fatty acids, minerals and vitamins including vitamin B12 , beta-carotene, chlorophyll and fibre.
Algae contain a wide variety of bioactive compounds because in the absence of an immune system, they have developed an elaborate “chemical” self-defense system against bacteria, viruses and fungi.

How to use
