Description
For transabdominal sampling of amniotic fluid for prenatal diagnosis (between the 15th and 18th week of pregnancy) of genetic defects in the fetus.
Also used for cytogenetic and biochemical tests.
The accurate sharpening of the needle allows for easy and atraumatic penetration.
The stylet is equipped with an echo-marked tip which allows for echo-guided insertion and is characterized by a color code for immediate identification of the needle size.
The cannula is equipped with a sliding stop to determine the insertion depth of the needle and a female luer-lock fitting for collecting the amniotic fluid with the syringe.
