ALPHA-LIPOIC ACID
Alpha-lipoic acid (LA), also known as thioctic acid, is a sulfur compound that plays an important role in the physiological functioning of some enzymes that are involved in the metabolic processes involved in energy production, mainly in the mitochondrion. The mitochondrion is in fact the organelle present in cells that has the function of "energy control unit". Alpha lipoic acid can contribute indirectly to the maintenance of cellular antioxidant status by promoting the body's production of endogenous low molecular weight antioxidants and antioxidant enzymes. For example, LA promotes the regeneration of intracellular vitamin C levels. It also supports the endogenous production of intracellular glutathione (GSH), a natural antioxidant thiol and co-substrate for detoxifying enzymes, in various types of cells and tissues. Alpha-lipoic acid levels decrease significantly with age. LA is rapidly absorbed at the gastrointestinal level and is subsequently transported to the tissues.

HOW TO USE
- 1 to 3 vegetable capsules per day
- preferably at mealtime

Swallow 1 to 3 vegetable capsules per day, with water, preferably with a meal. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Packaged in bottles of 30 vegetable capsules.
