L-GLUTATHIONE (GSH)
GLUTATHIONE 250 is a food supplement containing 250 mg of L-glutathione per capsule. Glutathione is a natural tripeptide containing sulphur, formed by the amino acids L-Cysteine, Glycine and glutamic acid. Glutathione is naturally produced by the body, where it cooperates in maintaining antioxidant activity and intervenes in liver detoxification processes. In fact, glutathione has a free thiol group (-SH) which binds to some exogenous substances, thus producing water-soluble derivatives that are easily eliminated in the urine and through the bile. L-glutathione is also a cofactor of Glutathione Peroxidase (GSH-Px), one of the main antioxidant enzymes in our body.
